Keranamu...Malaysia?
I've been mulling over the recent hoo-ha concerning this particular Lina Joy, and its got the cogs in my mind turning. You know that keris-wielding Education Minister of ours? Yeah, the one who is so passionate about bringing the good ol' days of NEP back...why has he remained so silent on this issue since he's such a champion for Malay rights?

If Lina Joy has converted from Islam to Christianity personally, must she need written consent from the Syariah Courts? If I recall correctly during my schooling days, the Malaysian Constitution endorses freedom of religion. Looks like the Malays in Malaysia are getting the short end of the stick here - they don't have the actual freedom to choose their own religious path.

I hope Hishamuddin Hussein will take up this challenge of maintaining Malay rights in this land. Do you think he'll pursue this matter with a keris (or two)? Last I checked, KerisMastarrrr.blogspot.com was not taken up yet. He could link up with Lim Kit Siang and they could do a political blogroll together.
