November Birthday Post Episode I
November babies are happy people.

Happy Birthday Nora!!!

*phew* This is going to be a hectic month, this is.
Greetings and such
Week's been really hot. The power in the entire building kept on tripping, due to some dungus on the fifth floor adding a few extra A/Cs. Central air conditioning's out of commission at the moment to avoid any power trips, but it doesn't matter since there're a couple of servers in the EDP room, and we have an extra A/C in here to keep them cool ;)

I'm not complaining though, since all the female staff have resorted to thongs and summer bikinis.

Just out of curiousity, here's a scenario. Let's just say you have an extra 150k to throw around - would you prefer to get a beat up Satria GTi and overhaul the engine, do all the mods that you can afford, namely the turbo-charged engine, the buffet table at the rear of the car...or is that the spoiler? I can't tell the difference. Basically, a 5 second car (or less).

Or would you rather use the money to get an E36 328i, complete with a kick-ass audio visual system - even though it can't beat the souped up GTi in a race.

How do the owners of souped up Wiras (modified to the specifications of an Evo IV, for example) feel when a real deal Evo IV pulls up beside them at the red lights. Prolly the same way I would feel when I overclock my GeForce2 MX400 to the GeForce2 Pro's level of performance (is that even possible?), only to receive a smug look from the owner of a real GeForce2 Pro.

Some argue that they're getting the most bang for their buck, thus explaining most hot rodded Satrias and Wiras on our roads. I say, be proud of your Wira 1.5 that does 0-100 in 12 seconds, and leave it at that. No point outrunning a Porsche with a souped up rice rocket. Any fool knows Monica Bellucci would only plant her sweet ass in a German marque and not a 5 second Wira.

It is, after all, only Proton.

BeautyInnerOuter
Ah, this world is a funny place. You have people that exhort beauty, while the other end of the spectrum are those who urge the rest to see beyond the beauty that's skin deep, and appreciate the charm and bewitching wiles that lie below.

I'm all for both inner and outer beauty, but what gets my goat is the fact that those who only look for inner beauty seem to forget the fact that one can have an extremely pleasing exterior coupled with an inner beauty that others are envious of. Case in hand, we have LoyalHeart as a living example.

Having fulfilled my customary pointless post, I'm logging off. Laters, boys and girls!
